For the first time since the 2014 season, the Pulaski boys’ soccer team is heading to the WIAA Division 2 state tournament.

After two close sets to begin its match with Pulaski Tuesday, Sept. 27, the Bay Port volleyball showed why it’s at the top of the FRCC.

Trailing 14-0 after the first quarter, the Red Raiders came alive in the second half to post a 34-27 victory over Ashwaubenon on Friday.

The Pirates turned back Pulaski 23-7 in Fox River Classic Conference action last night at Bay Port High School.

Last year’s last-second victory by De Pere still stings for Pulaski standout Maverick Cole. This year, Pulaski built a lead and staved off De Pere late, scoring a road win.

She loves being busy, and that’s exemplified during the spring season when she competes in both softball and track and field.

Cole is coming off a monster season in the Pulaski backfield. He rushed 165 times for 1,023 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior.

Offensively, the Red Raiders run the single wing and play fast and aggressively on defense.This year will be no different.

Gabrielle DeCleene was a senior on the Pulaski softball team, and the Red Raiders had a very good season and were fun to watch.
