MADISON—The Ashwaubenon girls swim team was well represented down at the WIAA State swim meet held at the Natatorium on the campus of UW-Madison. (Nov. 9)

WESTON—In a winter wonderland, the West De Pere Phantoms football team defeated the Rice Lake Warriors by a final of 35-14 to advance to the title game. (Nov. 9)

Ashwaubenon High School head football coach Mark Jonas resigned from his position with the team Nov. 9 after 10 years at the helm. 

Maleya Chynoweth is a senior at De Pere High School on the dance team who likes to shop, hang out with friends and play Guitar Hero.

Sydney Zabel was a varsity runner that helped lead the girls’ cross-country team to a second-place finish at the Fox River Classic Conference meet.

Bay Port girls’ state golf champion Jo Baranczyk was formally recognized by the Howard-Suamico school board on Monday, Nov. 5.

WESTON – The West De Pere and Rice Lake football teams will square off Nov. 9 at D.C. Everest High School in a WIAA Level 4 playoff game for the right to play in the Division 3 state championship game in Madison, Friday, Nov. 16, at 10:00 a.m.

James Morgan, former Ashwaubenon standout quarterback, is making a name for himself leading the FIU football team this season in Miami.
