DE PERE—Jake Karchinski scored 25 points and John Edinger 20 as the West De Pere Phantoms boys basketball team rallied past the Green Bay West Wildcats 72-62, Dec. 18 at West De Pere High School.

Six students representing Ashwaubenon High School and the community attended the 2018 WIAA Sportsmanship Summit in Stevens Point on Dec. 12.

Deedra Irwin, 2010 Pulaski High School alumna, made her IBU World Cup debut anchoring the U.S. women’s relay team at the competition in Hochfilzen, Austria, Dec. 16.

On Dec. 15-16, the Ashwaubenon Nordic Ski Team raced in Houghton, Michigan at the first set of Junior National Qualifiers.

DE PERE – Cody Schwartz had a knack for putting the basketball through the hoop as a ninth grader at West De Pere High School.

The Bay Port hockey team posted a 6-3 Fox River Classic Conference victory Dec. 15 over De Pere at the Cornerstone Community Center.

ASHWAUBENON—Isaac Rentmeester, Parker Dorn and Liam Golden each scored a pair ofgoals as the Ashwaubenon Jaguars defeated the Sheboygan Red Raiders 6-3 in boys’ hockey in a Fox River Classic Conference game held at the Cornerstone Community Center. (Dec. 7)

With the Nov. 9 resignation of longtime Ashwaubenon High School head football coach Mark Jonas, the district is accepting applicants for the position. 

ASHWAUBENON—The sixth-ranked De Pere Redbirds girls’ basketball team defeated a pesky Ashwaubenon Jaguars squad 62-56 in a game held Dec. 14 at Ashwaubenon High School.

The Bay Port boys’ basketball team was playing without two starters in its game against Green Bay Southwest Dec. 14.
