MADISON—The Notre Dame Academy boy’s tennis team captured the Division 2 Team State Championship held Friday & Saturday, June 7-8, at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, WI.

WRIGHTSTOWN—Overtime seemed inevitable.Then, with 58 seconds to go in the sectional final, Izzy Kellner came out of nowhere to score a goal and propel the Notre Dame Academy Tritons to a 2-1 victory over the Xavier Hawks in a soccer game played June 8 at Wrightstown High School.

KAUKAUNA—Emma Nagel scored the only goal of the game as the Pirates’ girls soccer team defeated the Kimberly Papermakers by a final of 1-0, June 8, in a contest played at Kaukauna High School.

The Pulaski softball team saw its season end one game short of a WIAA Division 1 state title berth.

Connor Langreder is a lead pitcher and strong hitter on a Phantoms team that currently sits at 27-2 and won the Bay Conference with a 17-1 record.On May 4, he delivered a no-hitter against arch-rival De Pere.

SUAMICO—Emma Nagel scored three goals as the Bay Port Pirates soccer team defeated the Appleton North Lightning 4-1 in a sectional semi-final game played June 5 at Bay Port High School.

Olivia Fabry is a recent graduate of De Pere High School.

WINNECONNE—Cameron Dupont hit two home runs and Connor Langreder pitched five complete innings as the West De Pere Phantoms baseball team defeated the Seymour Thunder 13-3 in six innings, June 4, at Winneconne High School to qualify for the State Tournament held June 12-13 at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton.

The Bay Port High School boys’ golf team and several area individuals competed at the WIAA Division 1 state meet in Madison at the par 72 University Ridge Golf Course June 3-4.
