PREBLE HIGH SCHOOL – In a hard-fought playoff showdown of the Fox River Classic Conference between Preble and Green Bay East boys’ basketball teams, Preble emerged on top with a commanding performance, securing a noteworthy win.

GREEN BAY – For the first time in almost two years, the Green Bay West football team came out victorious.In their annual rivalry game against Green Bay East, the Wildcats started fast and hung on late for a 41-28 Fox River Classic Conference-South game on Sept. 29 at Green Bay West High School.

If you were at the Friday, Aug. 25, game at Green Bay East High School, you may have noticed that many students in the stands were wielding instruments — at least until halftime, when a bout of tempestuous weather ended the game, and the music, early.

As a youngster, Levi Nelson traveled to Green Bay from Ohio numerous times over the years to watch Packers practices and games.

Aisha was a senior on the East High Red Devil softball team this season. She was a utility player and hit two home runs against Plymouth and West De Pere this season.

The Green Bay East and Green Bay West football teams will remain part of the Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC) for the foreseeable future.

Inspired by the year Wisconsin officially became a state in 1848, former Green Bay East boys’ basketball standout Harry Boyce wanted to offer players from northeastern Wisconsin an opportunity to advance their basketball careers.

Tyler is a key figure for the Red Devils basketball team this season, running the floor as the starting point guard. He is also a shortstop and occasional pitcher for the Green Bay East/West baseball team.
