Aisha was a senior on the East High Red Devil softball team this season. She was a utility player and hit two home runs against Plymouth and West De Pere this season. She was an all conference honorable mention her sophomore year, Second Team Catcher her junior year, and honorable mention her senior year.

When did you start playing softball?

I started playing when I was in third grade in the Allouez League. I continued to play League while playing on several different tournament teams until my junior year.

Have you ever played any other sports?

Softball has always been my number one sport, but I did play basketball for high school my senior year.

What is your favorite part of being on the high school softball team?

Friendships throughout softball, and just playing the game.

Is there a coach or teammate that has made a significant impact on your softball career?

I have had many coaches throughout all of my teams, and all of them have made an impact on me in some way, as a person and a player.

Do you prefer home games or travel games?

Travel games to see all the different fields and different atmospheres that different towns bring.

What is your favorite softball memory off the field?

Sitting in the sun in between games and watching the other teams compete.

What is your favorite pre-game snack?

Fruit

Would you rather time travel to the future or to the past, and what year?

Definitely the past. I would go to the 90s because it looks like they had a fun time.

What are your plans after high school?

I’d like to enter the medical field and continue to play softball.
