The American White Pelicans have returned to the De Pere dam for the summer.
Starting in May, the pelicans begin nesting on the lower Green Bay in large colonies.
The birds are noted for their cooperative hunting method where they form a U shaped line and corral small fish into the shallows; then they scoop them up with their bills.
