Jill McGrath and Marisa George, proprietors of Nothing Bundt Cakes off of Oneida St. in Green Bay, were having dinner together one night and got to discussing the possibility of bringing something new to the area.
George, who had been enjoying Nothing Bundt Cakes for years as a customer living down south, suggested the bakery as a solid idea and the two decided to go for it.
Now, baking treats all day long (everything at Nothing Bundt Cakes starts from scratch in the store) is what they do as the franchise is beginning to pick up steam here in Green Bay.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is also making an effort to break involved in the community and George and McGrath have donated their goodies to places like NEW Community Shelter or at events like the reception held recently for the Golden Apple Awards.
