For the Press Times

GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPS) is in the process of developing a 10-year Facility Master Plan to address facilities needs, declining enrollment and inefficiencies, and is looking for public feedback.

A citizen task force is currently meeting to develop a plan, which will address enrollment trends, community demographics, improvement needs of the buildings, boundaries, etc.

GBAPS is asking staff, parents/guardians, and community members to complete a Facilities Master Plan survey.

The survey results will be shared with the Facilities Task Force and the board of education.

The survey is advisory, providing additional information to the task force as they begin to develop recommendations.

It is also feedback to the board of education as they review the recommendations, prior to taking a vote.

The survey is available until March 24 and responses are anonymous.

The survey is available at fs20.formsite.com/jfdonova/jbrsehhe40/index.

More information on the Facilities Master Plan is available at www.gbaps.org/our_district/facilities_master_plan.
