Pedro Ortiz said he enjoys pretty much everything about working at Tequilas, which opened in the former Los Banditos location on Main St. only a couple of months ago.
He said he takes a lot of pride in working for his uncle Everado, who owns the restaurant, and that he and everyone else at Tequilas goes the extra mile to make sure the restaurant continues to grow its customer base.
The staff at Tequilas takes extra time with prep work, all of the sauces for the entrees on the menu are made from scratch each morning and Ortiz said one of the most important parts of his job as a bartender is hand-squeezing the juices that go into Tequilas’ specialty margaritas.
