2023 budget, levy increase approved
The Suamico Village Board unanimously approved the village’s 2023 budget at its Nov. 14 meeting.
The budget features a total levy of $5,723,053 and a mill rate of $3.875.

The levy represents a roughly $189,000 increase, or 3.41%, over last year’s levy.

The mill rate increased by $0.093 from last year’s rate.

Highlights of the 2023 budget include an additional $100,000 for road reconstruction (compared to the 2022 budget); the replacement of a bucket truck in the Public Works Department; Phase 1 of the Calavera Park project; migrating the village website from suamico.org to suamicowi.gov; and a 6% wage increase for village staff.
