Green Bay Packers’ legend and recent NFL Hall of Fame inductee LeRoy Butler was at Lambeau Field on Wednesday, Nov. 16 to announce he will be working with an award-winning production team on an upcoming feature film about his life experience titled “Leap of Faith: The LeRoy Butler Story.”
The film plans to tell the story of Butler’s journey from special-needs child who could not walk until he was five years old to ending his career in the NFL regarded as one of the greatest secondary players in league history.
The film will touch on the struggles experienced by his mother, Eunice, who raised LeRoy by herself in Jacksonville, FL.
The film, which will be shot and produced by O’Malley Creadon Productions.
The team hopes to wrap it up in about two years.
