Fall Fest on Broadway

Celebrate fall in the Broadway District with activities for the whole family.

Use the map on pg. 8 to go trick-or-treating at local businesses.

Turn your map in after visiting all participating businesses for a chance to win the grand prize.

There will also be horse-drawn carriage rides, pumpkin painting, a corn maze, food vendors and live music throughout the day.

This free event will begin at 11 a.m.

Homebrew Showcase

Ahnapee Brewery, Suamico


Event for homebrewers and those interested in trying new and unique craft beers.

Try free samples of more than 40 homebrewed beers and vote for your favorite.

Admission is $15 and includes a Homebrew Showcase glass to use during the event and take home after.

The event begins at 1 p.m. and will take place rain or shine outdoors under a tent.

Academy of St. Martin in the Field Chamber Ensemble

Attend the first concert of the Brown County Civic Music 96th anniversary season.

The eight-member ensemble from England will perform Purxell’s Chacony for Strings in G Minor, Brahms’ String Sextet in B-Flat Major, “Ricercar a 6” from JS Bach’s The Musical Offering and Mendelssohn’s Octet in E-flat.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is included with a Civic Music season subscription ($95 for adults, $25 for students) or individual event admission can be purchased online or at the door ($49 for adults, $19 for students).

The Great Pumpkin Train
Saturday, Oct. 8
National Railroad Museum, Green Bay


Ride a train to the museum’s pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin to take home.

Trick-or-treating, craft stations, games, liver entertainment, balloon animals and fall photo stations will also be taking place back at the depot.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore historic trains and exhibits.

Admission is $17 per person (free for ages 2 and under).

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event.

Festivities begin at 9 a.m.

The Effect

The Weidner Center, Green Bay


Take in a play presented by UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance.

This live performance uses humor and drama to address our pill-popping culture.

Due to the use of adult language and situations, this performance is suggested for mature audiences.

Performance will be Oct. 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $22 for adults, $17 seniors and students.
