When and how did you start making art?
Drawing and painting was an escape when I was a child.
I continued to create art throughout my life and even studied at Pratt Institute for fine art in my undergraduate years.
What inspires your work?
I find inspiration in everyday life, in nature, and from local artists to the masters in art history.
There is nothing like getting caught up in working on a piece and feeling it take form into something beautiful.
How would you describe Green Bay/NE Wisconsin’s arts community?
It is growing every year and is an amazing thing to become a part of.
What is the best advice you have for other artists?
There are no limitations to your creativity and imagination.
Never let anyone take that away from you.
