REN Rejuvenation Bar welcomes clients in new downtown space

GREEN BAY – When REN Rejuvenation Bar co-owners Markie Otto and Jessica Sharkey first stepped into the space at 1263 Main Street, they immediately fell in love and knew it was the perfect place to open their boutique med spa.

“The building has a ton of history and character,” she said. “We loved the look of the original hardwood floors and exposed brick throughout the building. Not much decorating needed when the space holds a naturally pleasing appearance! It was originally an open room with tons of natural light and exposed brick, so we did have to put up some walls to create our two treatment rooms.”

Jeff Mirkes, executive director of Downtown Green Bay, Inc., agreed that the space seemed like a perfect fit for the business.

“We are so pleased to welcome Rejuvenation Bar to the Olde Main Street District,” he said. “The business location Markie and Jess choose at Main Street Commons is a very classy, unique space with brick walls and hardwood floors, perfect for the culture of their new business. We know their clientele will be equally impressed.”

Otto said being able to open REN has been a dream come true.

“This has been a dream of ours since nursing school,” she said. “We have put so much hard work, effort and love into this that we have no doubt that everyone is going to feel it when they walk in.”

A med spa is a combination of an aesthetic medical center and a day spa that provides nonsurgical aesthetic medical services.

Otto said REN’s goal is to help clients feel their best, and they are proud to be one of the only businesses in the area to provide some of the treatments they do.

“Our luxury injectables, including our signature RENtox – which is the choice of Botox or Dysport – are FDA approved to temporarily soften fine lines and wrinkles,” Otto said.

Otto said they are also the only med spa in the area to offer the Sylfirm X Radiofrequency Microneedling machine.

She said radiofrequency (RF) microneedling creates “micro injuries” to the skin that trigger new collagen production and results in improved tone, texture and laxity.

“We will also offer facial filler to help restore depleted volume in cheeks, plump lips, and balance your profile within the next few weeks,” Otto said.

She said REN also offers IV hydration to help support the immune system and to add a glow before a big event or to help recover after a long weekend.

“At REN, we’re breaking the mold of a traditional patient-provider experience,” she said. “In our space, we want everyone to feel empowered, important, and heard. We prioritize you, whether it is prevention, treatment, or reversal of the aging process. We want every client to feel their very best after leaving our space. We know our clients will be able to feel the difference from the moment they enter our doors.”

Aside from the love of the space, Otto said an appreciation for the downtown Green Bay area and the businesses already in the building aided in their decision.

“We just love the area,” she said. “Downtown Green Bay is growing, and new amazing businesses are popping up left and right. We also love the complementing business throughout the building, such as OG Sunless, Carlee Secor Photography, Main Street Salon and Spa, etc.”

Otto said it has been exciting to see her and Sharkey’s hard work pay off with the opening of REN Rejuvenation Bar.
