Who on the team were you closest with?

“I’ve known or played soccer with most of my teammates for many years, so it’s hard to say I was closer to some rather than others.”

How painful is it having the ball hit your head on a cold day?

“Pretty painful. I would rub my forehead for at least two minutes afterward.”

Beef jerky or chips and salsa for a snack?

“Chips and salsa.”

A week in Ecuador or Japan?

“Japan. It has amazing cities like Tokyo and Kyoto, but it also has some historic architecture in some of the more rural, coastal towns.”

Who was the funniest person on the team?

“Sam Hendry. She really isn’t funny, which in turn, makes her funny.”

Whom do you admire?

“My mom. She’s a hard worker, dependable, kind and easygoing.”

If you could play for any professional team, who would it be?

“Chelsea FC because it would make my dad happy.”

What’s one thing other teammates or coaches don’t know about you?

“No one on the team knows where I’m going to college.”

Where are you attending college?

“Milwaukee School of Engineering to play soccer and study architectural engineering. I’m hoping my new team will continue to make the NCAA tournament. I’m looking forward to gaining better work experience and studying abroad.”

When you were young, what did you imagine becoming?

“A manager for a band.”

If you could start your own professional sports team, what would the team be named and what colors would it be?

“I would add ‘FC’ to the end of a city’s name, and the team colors would be brown and tan. I feel those colors go together nicely and are underappreciated in sports.”

La Java or Dairy Queen?

“Dairy Queen because I’ve never been to La Java.”

Before a game, did you prefer to get hyped up with the team or keep it calm and do your own thing?

“Do my own thing. I most likely would be wearing headphones.”

What’s the most difficult position?

“Goalie.”

Would you rather own a modern house or a Victorian home from the 1900s?

“A modern house. Victorian homes seem appealing for aesthetic reasons, but knowing me, I would probably be creeped out in an old home.”

Who’s your favorite soccer player?

“Billy Gilmour. I formed an emotional attachment to him a few years ago.”

How do you define success?

“Accomplishing the goals I’ve set for myself, no matter how big or small.”
