Village

Professional services proposal approved
The Village Board approved a professional services proposal with Robert E. Lee Associates (REL) to provide technical support to the village – specifically associated with the oversight of the village’s process related to the implementation and installation of TDS fiber lines throughout the village.

As part of the service, REL will provide support to the village by providing an engineering technician to aid in utility coordination and overall project oversight.

REL will work at the direction of the village, but have the experience and technical knowledge to help review permit submittals, review design documents, aid in issuing applicable permits and provide limited crew oversight during construction for progress reporting.

The contract states work will be completed on a part-time, time-and-expense basis at a billing rate of $97 per hour, plus reimbursable expenses such as mileage.

Upcoming regular board meetings
All meetings are held at 6 p.m. at the village office located at 2990 S Pine Tree Road.

Upcoming meetings are scheduled for:
• June 21
• July 5
• July 19
