West De Pere sweeps Bay Conference track and field meet

DE PERE – Both the West De Pere boys’ and girls’ track and field teams won their portion of the Bay Conference track and field meet May 14 at West De Pere High School.

For the boys, the Phantoms’ 218 points bettered runner-up Xavier (117) by 101 points.

Locally, Green Bay East (56.6 – fifth), Green Bay West (43 – sixth) and Seymour (34 – eighth) also competed.

For the girls, West De Pere’s 250 points was 150 points better than runner-up Xavier (100).

Seymour (51 – fifth), West (43 – sixth) and East (16 – eighth) rounded out the local competition.

4×800 relay: WDP (Zavion Day, Landon Nuthals, Alec Ukkola, Noah Jahnke), 8:41.86

1,600: Jahnke, WDP, 4:29.34

4×200 relay: WDP (Jacob Hayes, Brock Story, Clifford Janssen, Jacob Breier), 1:32.01

400: Gyriece Goodman, WDP, 49.74

4×100 relay: WDP (Dayton Lambert, Breier, Kaleb Cameron, Jonathan Kaster), 44.69

300 hurdles: Yadiel Marrero-Flores, WDP, 40.97

3,200: Jahnke, WDP, 9:27.25

4×400 relay: WDP (Janssen, Marrero-Flores, Connor Flood, Breier), 3:30.06

Girls

100 hurdles: Ellie Drews, WDP, 15.71

1,600: Kate Schmoll, WDP, 5:12.47

4×200 relay: WDP (Kayla DeBruin, Jayna Schema, Drews, Faith Kibbe), 1:45.52

400: Eliza Aitken, WDP, 56.73

4×100 relay: WDP (DeBruin, Ashlyn Magnin, Schema, Erika Ukkola), 51.48

300 hurdles: Drews, WDP, 48.51

800: Emily Sharapata, WDP, 2:29.82

200: Aitken, WDP, 25.68

3,200: Schmoll, WDP, 11:34.95

4×400 relay: WDP (Raelyn Mader, Jocelyn Thomson, Sharapata, Aitken), 4:02.58

High jump: Madeline Zirbel, WDP, 5-2

Triple jump: Ashaunte Williams, GBW, 33-3.5
