Originally from Kenya, Christine Kendi moved to the United States in January 2010 through the Diversity Immigrant Visa program, also known as the green card lottery.
Kendi said she ended up in Brown County thanks to a wonderful family that hosted her for two years, which she met while they were on a mission trip to Kenya through First United Church of Green Bay.
Kendi works as a RN at Bellin.
Her hobbies include listening to bands in summer, traveling and watching movies.
