Phoenix women add McNeal to roster

GREEN BAY – University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Head Coach Kevin Borseth recently announced the addition of guard Natalie McNeal to the women’s basketball roster.

“We’re thrilled Natalie will be joining our team,” Borseth said. “We recruited her heavily out of high school and are excited she’s coming back to her home state. She has proven experience, is an outstanding athlete and is determined. While she can score in a multitude of ways, she excels in the mid-range game. Natalie is a neat kid who fits our culture and will make Green Bay basketball better, on and off the court.”

McNeal is coming to Green Bay after two years at St. Louis University (SLU).

This past season, she averaged 9.4 points (third-most on the team), 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

The Germantown native was one of the most consistent performers for SLU a year ago, finishing the season as the only player to play in all 27 games.

“Green Bay women’s basketball has a great culture that drives them to success,” McNeal added. “I’m excited to come back to Wisconsin and be a part of something special.”
