Pulaski High School marching band, choir take Disney

Hobart

The Pulaski High School marching band and choir are no stranger to big performances – but a spring break trip to perform at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, is definitely one to remember.

The trip included public performances in the parks, a workshop with Disney clinicians, admission to the Disney parks, a day at the beach and a visit to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

A total of 166 students, chaperones and directors made the trek to the ‘Happiest Place on Earth.’

Pampered pooch

Bax, the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department’s K-9, got some special treatment recently.

The canine officer underwent a Magnawave therapy session, which is a deep-tissue massage that sends electro pulses throughout the body.

The department said the therapy helps reduce inflammation and removes toxins among other things.

During the session, handlers said Bax was beyond relaxed.
