Green Bay women add Koenig to roster

GREEN BAY – University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s basketball Head Coach Kevin Borseth announced the addition of guard Tatum Koenig to the roster.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tatum to our program,” Borseth said. “Tatum’s proven experience and success at the collegiate level make her a great fit.  She has a versatile skill set in her ability to shoot the ball and attack the basket. She also has three of the most important qualities we look for in our student-athletes. She’s a great teammate, has an incredible work ethic and makes the people around her better.”

Koenig, a graduate transfer from Bradley University, will enter the 2022-23 season as a fifth-year senior.

A year ago, she averaged 12 points, 3.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds per contest.

She scored in double figures in 16 of the Braves’ last 19 games.

Koenig has made 41.3% of her 3-point shots since the 2019-20 season.

The West Branch, Iowa, native is near the top of the record books at Bradley in multiple categories.

“My commitment to Green Bay was not a tough decision,” Koenig said. “I was looking for a family-oriented place, and I found that. We have big goals ahead, and I can’t wait to do that alongside some great people.”
