GREEN BAY – For the third straight week and fourth time this season, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s basketball player Bailey Butler was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week.
Butler helped Green Bay in wins over UIC and IUPUI.
In a 75-46 win Feb. 17 over UIC, she had 4 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists while shooting 2-for-3 from the floor.
In Green Bay’s win over IUPUI Feb. 19, Butler had a near double-double, posting 8 points and 8 rebounds in 27 minutes.
The South Wayne native was efficient from downtown, going 2-for-4 from behind the 3-point arc.
In 21 games this season, Butler is averaging 6.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
