Dozens of area wrestlers advance to sectionals

BROWN COUNTY – Dozens of area wrestlers advanced to sectionals based on their performances at various Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association regionals across the state.

Only the top-four wrestlers in each weight category advanced to sectionals this Saturday, Feb. 19.

Division 1 – Shawano

Pulaski won the meet overall with 233.5 points.

Local teams Bay Port (201, second), De Pere (133.5, fourth), West De Pere (116.5, fifth), Ashwaubenon (sixth, 111), Green Bay Preble (69, seventh) and Green Bay United (61.5, eighth) also competed.
