A Bloody Mary bar crawl, a sushi lesson and an acoustic duo are too tempting to miss.

Snow Sculpture Pop-Up Exhibit

Thursday, Feb. 10

Green Bay Botanical Garden, Green Bay

The Snow Sculpture Pop-Up Exhibit comes back to the Green Bay Botanical Garden’s with sponsorship from the Cornerstone Foundation of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. The exhibits for this year are nature-themed, with sculptures such as butterflies, bees, birds and more. Christy Dunsmoor, Jeff Olson, Garrett Wendlandt and Lisa Doeren will be creating the sculptures. Besides viewing the sculptures, visitors will be able to participate in a scavenger hunt and take home a craft kit. Weather-permitting, the sculptures will be up from Feb. 10-12 and again Feb. 14-19. Visitors will be able to see the sculptures from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets start at $5.

Girl & The Gunn

Friday, Feb. 11

Zambaldi Beer, Green Bay

Zambaldi Beer continues their Original Beer + Original Music nights with Girl & The Gunn Feb. 11. Girl & The Gunn is a Midwestern Folk duo from Green Bay, singing both original music and covers. Their EP, Gunn and the Girl, is an acoustic folk creation similar to bands such as Caamp or Wild Rivers. The folk tunes kick off at 6 p.m. There is no cover charge.

Mr. and Miss Napalese Pageant

Saturday, Feb. 12

Napalese Lounge and Grille, Green Bay

Napalese Lounge and Grille hosts their Mr. and Miss Napelese Pageant in Green Bay, Feb. 12. The pageant has been going on for decades with winners receiving a crown, sash, and $600 in cash each year. This year’s pageant is hosted by Wy Nonna. There is a $50 fee for those looking to enter the pageant. The event starts at 10 p.m and is for ages 21 and up. There is no cover charge. Green Bay’s Best Bloody Mary Bar Crawl

Saturday, Feb. 12

840 S Broadway, Green Bay

Green Bay is searching for the best Bloody Mary in town. The Bloody Mary Bar Crawl happens Feb. 12 as a way to celebrate the classic alcoholic beverage while supporting small businesses in Green Bay. Richard Cranium’s, The Sardine Can, Keggers Bar, Hagemeister Park, Old School Bar, Blue Collar Bar & Grill and The Nines will be participating in the crawl. Participants are able to start at any bar and set their own route. The event starts at 11 a.m. Tickets start at $35 and include three free Bloody Marys, beer and seltzer for the bus right, continuous bus rides and gifts. Additional Bloody Marys will be $3 at each bar.

Sushi 101

Wednesday, Feb. 16

Season to Taste, Suamico

Season to Taste is hosting a sushi 101 event in their space Wednesday, Feb. 16. Chef Ace Champion leads the class in how to make sushi at home by learning simple techniques to enjoy the food at a much lower cost. Chef Ace Champion is a personal chef as well as a cooking instructor. He is also the host of the TV show Cook Like A Champion. The sushi-making starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.

The Man with the Golden Arm

Wednesday, Feb. 16

The Tarlton Theatre, Green Bay

The Green Bay Film Society features the 1955 movie The Man with the Golden Arm Feb. 16. The film follows Frankie Machine, a drug addict and card dealer who is trying to get his life back on track. Frankie’s dreams of being a drummer are halted quickly when his ex-dealer and former employer push themselves back into his life. His fear of falling back into addiction looms closer and seems unavoidable.
