Puddle of Mudd Lead vocalist Wes Scantlin was named one of the “Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists” by the now-defunct, monthly hard rock magazine Hit Parader.

Chicago rock band The Outfit is also on the bill with their driving, alternative rock sound that comes through on singles such as “Come Alive,” which is akin to early-career Foo Fighters.

Green Bay band Sir Real kicks off the show with a blend of King Diamond-inspired hard rock.
Sir Real was nominated for “Best Hard Rock Artist” by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) this year.

The one at the Weidner: “Friends! The Musical Parody”

Saturday, Nov. 20

Weidner Center, Green Bay

The Weidner Center presents the nationally touring, parody theater production “Friends! The Musical Parody” on November 20th.

The show kicks off with a nod to the series early origins where a runaway bride finds her way to the Central Perk coffee shop and runs into old friends. From there, the production features uncensored and fast-paced music and singing, including songs such as “The Ballad of Fat Monica,” ‘’How you Doin’?” and “The One Where We Make a Million Dollars and Episode.”

The show starts at 7:30 pm. More about the show can be found at www.weidnercenter.com.
