ASHWAUBENON – The Green Bay Booyah defeated the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders Sunday afternoon at Herr-Baker Field, 4-1.

The Booyah scored two in the fourth inning after a single by Dalton Pearson (Georgia State) that scored Johnny Hipsman (Richmond) and Elias Flowers (Jacksonville).

Green Bay added another two in the eighth when Pearson hit a sacrifice fly to right field that scored Nathan Blasick (West Virginia) and Dayson Croes’ (Quincy) single that drove in Hipsman.

Mykel Page (Southern) threw seven shutout innings, walked two and punched out three.

His earned-run average dropped to 0.81, as he improved to 3-1 on the season.

The Booyah head into the all-star break with an 8-5 record in the second half with a share of second place in the Great Lakes West.

Green Bay returns to Capital Credit Union Park Monday, July 26, for a Northwoods League game against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

It will be Free Hot Dogs Monday, presented by Festival Foods – free hot dogs for the first 90 minutes after gates open, limit two hot dogs per person, per trip.
