BROWN COUNTY – Week 2 of the alternate fall football season saw some close games and a few blowouts.

Bay Port comes from behind in win

The Pirates (2-0) fell behind 14-0 to Stevens Point on the road after the first quarter but stormed back to a 49-20 victory.

Running back Matt Grzybowski had four rushing touchdowns and returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown.

Grzybowski rushed for 160 yards on 26 carries.

Quarterback Eli Frank was 9-of-16 passing for 144 yards with a touchdown toss to Nathan Forystek.

Frank also added a rushing score.

De Pere remains undefeated

The Redbirds (2-0) defeated Oshkosh West at home, 19-7.

Running back Adam Timbrook scored two touchdowns and had 112 yards rushing on 23 carries.

Quarterback Gabe Herman was 8-for-12 passing with 156 yards.

Herman threw a touchdown pass to Maddax Shinners, who had four catches totaling 99 yards.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran loses tight game

The Blazers (1-1) lost 28-20 to Chequamegon on the road in 8-man action.

Quarterback Peyton Ponfil was 8-for-21 passing for 124 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw three interceptions.

N.E.W Lutheran rushed for 171 yards on 42 carries as a team.

Green Bay West gets blanked

The Wildcats (0-2) dropped a 65-0 road game to Sheboygan South.

No stats were available online.

Notre Dame Academy routs Racine Case

Traveling to Racine, the Tritons (2-0) came home with a convincing 54-6 victory.

Notre Dame led 27-6 at halftime and tacked on another 27 points after the break.

Running back Will Zellner had 208 yards on 27 carries with five touchdowns.

The Tritons rushed for 350 yards total as a team.

Quarterback George Kress also threw a touchdown pass to Tim Turek.

Pulaski falls to Kimberly

The Red Raiders (1-1) dropped a 23-6 game to the Papermakers on the road.

Pulaski, which fell behind 20-0 at the half, got a touchdown run from Nash Lemerond to begin the fourth quarter for its only score.

Lemerond completed 5-of-10 passes for 96 yards.
