Davis, Stieber nab all-conference honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Sophomore Amari Davis and redshirt freshman Lucas Stieber, both of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men’s basketball team, have been named to the All-Horizon League teams, which were voted on by the league’s 12 head coaches.

Davis received a second-team nod, while Stieber was placed on the all-freshman team.

Davis, who finished fourth in the league in scoring with 17.2 points per game this season, received the honor a year after being named the league’s freshman of the year.

He scored at least 20 points nine times this season and reached double figures on 20 separate occasions.
Stieber was tasked with helping direct the Phoenix offense this season and ranked seventh in the Horizon League with 4.2 assists per game.

The guard played in all 24 games for Green Bay and started 17 times.

Stieber also made a name for himself defensively, leading the team with 20 blocks and finishing fifth in the league with 1.0 blocks per game.

Defensive Player of the Year: Tre Gomillion, Cleveland State
