GREEN BAY – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association released its girls’ basketball sectional brackets and state hockey brackets.
In girls’ Division 1 basketball, No. 3 De Pere will travel to No. 2 Hortonville, while No. 1 Notre Dame Academy will host No. 4 Shawano Thursday, Feb. 18, in sectional semifinal games.
Sectional final games are Saturday, Feb. 20.
No. 1 Hudson and No. 4 Wisconsin Rapids are also in De Pere’s bracket, while No. 2 Freedom and No. 3 Xavier are in Notre Dame’s bracket.
The La Cross Center will host three divisions of the state basketball tournament, while the Menominee Nation Arena (Oshkosh) will host the other two.
In Division 1 hockey, Notre Dame earned the No. 3 seed and will travel to No. 2 Hudson Thursday, Feb. 18, for the state semifinals.
The winner will advance to the title game Saturday, Feb. 20, in Wisconsin Rapids.
