La Crosse Center, Menominee Nation Arena to host state basketball tournaments

STEVENS POINT – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association recently announced the La Crosse Center in La Crosse and the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh will serve as the host venues for the 2021 girls’ and boys’ state basketball tournaments scheduled for Feb. 25-27 and March 4-6, respectively.

Three of the five divisions will be held at the La Crosse Center for both genders, with two semifinals and a championship game for each division scheduled on one of the three days.

The Menominee Nation Arena will host the other two divisions.

Currently, it’s not known which venues will host which divisions.

In years past, the Resch Center in Green Bay has hosted the girls’ tournament, while the Kohl Center in Madison has hosted the boys.

The schedule for each day of the state tournaments has been determined.
