Voyageurs unaffected by change

ASHWAUBENON – The transfer of the Green Bay Booyah to Mark Skogen will not have an impact on the future of the Green Bay Voyageurs Football Club.

The current Voyageurs ownership group, led by Conor Caloia and Vern Stenman, will retain ownership of the soccer club and are focused on the future.

“We’re excited to work with Mark and his team,” Caloia and Stenman said. “His focus on the community will make him a great leader for Capital Credit Union Park and the Booyah. We’re committed to getting the Voyageurs back on the field and are excited for a re-launch in 2021.”

The Voyageurs, members of the USL League Two, had their season canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Head coach and technical director Brian Kamler is actively recruiting the 2021 roster and expects to resume play at Capital Credit Union Park in May.
