What’s it like to be a senior leader?

“I’m excited about the challenge. Being a leader is a huge responsibility with everyone looking up to you and watching everything you do.”

Talk about the 71-63 victory over Notre Dame Academy last season in the WIAA Division 2 sectional semifinals.

“It was huge for us and brought us lots of confidence. Notre Dame had always beaten us in the past, and we knew it was going to be tough. In the first few minutes of the game, we let them push us around, and they got a huge lead. After relaxing a little bit, we started to gain some points back and took the lead. It was one of the biggest wins of the season.”

What’s your favorite thing about athletics?

“I like to be active, and being in athletics helps me get away from school and have fun doing what I love.”

If you could play for one team, who would it be?

“I enjoyed watching Sabrina Ionescu play for the Oregon Ducks. They were successful in 2019-20.”
Who on the team are you closest to?

“Ashlyn Szymanski. We connect well on the court and can read what each other is going to do. We’re also partners in practice drills.”

What’s your favorite thing about playing for Coach McElrone?

“I love having him as my coach. I knew him before he stepped into the role of head coach, and it’s made it easy for me to adapt to his coaching style. I like how he makes me be the leader I need to be. He pushes me to the maximum and knows what I’m capable of.”

Talk about a volunteer experience.

“I volunteered at the Golden House multiple times and hung out with the kids making food and doing some cleaning.”

Who’s your role model?

“My parents are my role models for most things, but my mom was the only one to play basketball.”

What will be the best thing about this season’s team?

“Being able to play again since COVID-19 occurred in March. We’re hoping to do great things with the circumstances we’re in.”

What are your college aspirations?

“I hope to make an impact on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside team beginning next season. Continuing to work on my game is going to help me achieve and be the leader they need me to be.”

What’s your dream job?

“To become an athletic trainer.”

Who’s the funniest person on your team?

“Dani McQuillan, because she’s loud and goofy. She brings great energy to practice.”

Favorite thing to do in Green Bay in summer?

“Rollerblading on the Fox River Trail.”

What’s your favorite type of music?

“I listen to most anything, but I love country music.”

Coffee or energy drink?

“Energy drink.”

What four words describe you?

“Kind, humble, competitive, hard-working.”

What’s your favorite family vacation?

“Our trip to Hawaii, because we got to go in a shark cage and chill on the beach.

What’s your favorite professional team?

“The Milwaukee Bucks.”

A long 3-point basket or a nice assist to a teammate?

“A nice assist to a teammate.”
