HARTLAND – Notre Dame Academy senior cross country runner Molly Desotell ended her prep career in style.

Desotell, making her fourth consecutive trip to the WIAA state meet, placed sixth in the Division 1 race Oct. 31 at Arrowhead High School in Hartland.

Her time of 18:37 was 44 seconds behind Onalaska’s Kora Malecek, who won the race overall.

It was Desotell’s third straight year medaling at the state meet with a top-10 finish.

In the previous three seasons, the Tritons competed in Division 2.

Also competing for Notre Dame were freshman Camille Broullire and sophomore Lauren Conway.

Broullire placed 51st in 20:03, while Conway was two spots back in 53rd with a 20:09.

Sophomore Isaac Nowak also participated individually for the Tritons in the boys’ race and ran to a 49th place in 17:02.

Both races featured 114 runners.
