Notre Dame girls win cross country meet

GREEN BAY – The Notre Dame Academy girls’ cross country team won a three-team meet Oct. 2 at Colburn Park in Green Bay.

Neenah and Two Rivers also competed.

The Tritons tallied 33 points, with Neenah and Two Rivers scored 44 and 48 points, respectively.

Two Rivers sophomore Mikaela Helling won the meet overall in 18:33.

Notre Dame’s Molly Desotell (third) finished 14 seconds behind Helling, while teammate Lauren Conway (fourth) was another 5 seconds back of Desotell.

Camille Broullire (seventh, 20:31), Abby Haase (ninth, 20:52), Heidi Lulloff (10th, 20:55), Paige DeMoulin (13th, 21:25), Mary Popkey (18th, 21:59), Erin McNerney (19th, 22:17), Zita Lulloff (23rd, 22:34), Anna Clancy (24th, 22:35), Paige Beining (25th, 22:35), Brianna Fitzgerald (30th, 23:39), Abigail Micksch (33rd, 24:04) and Emma Cooper (34th, 24:27) also competed for the Tritons.

For the boys, Neenah (20), Notre Dame (41) and Two Rivers (90) competed.

Notre Dame sophomore Isaac Nowak led the Tritons with a third-place time of 16:58, 15 seconds behind Neenah’s Austin Henderson, who won the meet overall.

Alex Gutowski (sixth, 17:26), Braeden Tilot (seventh, 17:27), Joe Stumpf (11th, 17:43), Alex Brabant (16th, 18:06), Beckett Chambers (21st, 18:15), Andrew Kanning (22nd, 18:20), Ethan Hejny (24th, 18:26), Lachlan Chambers (26th, 18:47), Jackson Fogarty (27th, 18:47), Bennet Smith (31st, 19:07) and Mason Cumicek (33rd, 19:35) also competed for Notre Dame.
