Blue Ribbons baseball ends season

The Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons finished off its abbreviated 2020 season on Friday, Aug. 21, in Sheboygan, falling to the A’s 12-2.

The defeat ended the Blue Ribbons’ season at 17-32.

Green Bay scored first when second baseman Brett Reinhart led off the third inning with a triple and scored when Yuta Kudoh ripped a double to the right-center gap.

It would be all Sheboygan from there, however, as the A’s put up five runs in their half of the third and then tacked on four more in the fourth for a 9-1 lead.

The Ribbons would add one more run in the eighth, as Reinhart doubled and Luke Gajewski drove him in with a double of his own.

Sheboygan added to its lead with a run in the seventh and two more in the eighth to close out the game.
