GREEN BAY— University of Wisconsin-Green Bay recent graduate and women’s basketball player, Madison Wolf, has inked a contract to play professionally in Germany.

She’ll play the 2020-21 season with the Towers Basketball Club in Speyer.

Towers plays in one of Germany’s most competitive professional leagues.

Wolf averaged 7.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this past season.

As a junior, she scored 8.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest.

“I’m grateful to have the opportunity to continue my basketball career professionally,” Wolf said. “It’s been a dream of mine since I was a child. I’m excited to start this chapter of my life and embrace the new environment and culture. I’m determined to bring the leadership qualities I’ve learned throughout college to my new team so we can improve and become top contenders in the division. I couldn’t have done this without the support of my family, friends, former coaches and teammates.”

Towers Head Coach Julian Krieger said Wolf is exactly the player the team was looking for.

“Madison is team-oriented, has a great work ethic and the potential to be an outstanding player in our league,” said Krieger. “We’re convinced she’ll be a leader for our young squad. We’re proud to sign a player from such a well-respected collegiate program like Green Bay.”

Wolf obtained her master’s degree from UW-Green Bay in applied leadership for teaching and learning after receiving her undergraduate degree in middle childhood/early adolescent education.

She’s a native of Kohler and attended Sheboygan North High School.
