NEW YORK – James Morgan, a 2015 Ashwaubenon High School graduate, signed his rookie contract with the New York Jets in the National Football League.
A 2020 fourth-round draft pick, Morgan was a two-year starter at Florida International after transferring from Bowling Green.
He was the 125th overall pick in April’s draft by the Jets.
Morgan’s four-year deal is worth a shade more than $4 million, which includes a $715,264 signing bonus.
During his four-year, college career, Morgan threw for 8,654 yards and 65 touchdowns.
At Ashwaubenon, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Morgan, threw for more than 7,500 yards as a three-year starter.
