GREEN BAY – The Green Bay area’s only nationally recognized Pop Warner football league, East River Pop Warner, has extended its registration deadline until June 30.
The $100 registration fee gets players league-issued helmets, shoulder pads, padded pants, a jersey and a mouth guard that attaches to the helmet.
Players can keep their jerseys after the season.
Players will need their own cleats and personal water bottle.
The league will offer three different divisions – Mitey Mite, Jr. Pee Wee and Pee Wee – based on player age and weight as of July 31.
East River Pop Warner is also seeking coaches for the 2020 season.
All coaches belonging to Pop Warner must be certified and/or have a certificate of training.
