BROWN COUNTY – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association recently released the brackets for the upcoming postseason boys’ basketball tournament.
Regional play begins Tuesday, March 3, with sectionals commencing Thursday, March 12.
Sectional final games are Saturday, March 14, at predetermined locations.
The state tournament is March 19-21 at the Kohl Center in Madison.
In Division 1 games March 3, No. 16 Green Bay Preble will host No. 17 West Bend West and No. 18 Green Bay East will travel to No. 16 Hartford.
In Division 1 games March 6, No. 6 Bay Port will host No. 11 Menomonee Falls and No. 7 De Pere will entertain No. 10 Sheboygan South.
In Division 2 games March 3, No. 6 Notre Dame Academy will host No. 11 Green Bay West, No. 9 Green Bay Southwest will travel to No. 8 Menasha and No. 10 Pulaski will travel to No. 7 Fox Valley Lutheran.
No. 2 West De Pere received a first-round bye and will entertain the winner of Pulaski/Fox Valley Lutheran March 6.
No. 4 Ashwaubenon also received a first-round bye and will host the winner of No. 5 Luxemburg-Casco/No. 12 Marinette March 6.
In Division 5, No. 7 Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran will host No. 10 Sheboygan Christian March 3.
