As a junior, he finished with 30 wins, taking third at the Appleton North Sectional in the 120-pound weight classification.
What’s it like to be a leader on the wrestling team at West De Pere?
“Since I was little, I always wanted to be a leader on a team. It’s truly an honor.”
What’s your most embarrassing wrestling moment?
“When I forgot my wrestling shoes for a tournament when I was in elementary school. I was almost unable to wrestle, but luckily, my grandparents brought them for me.”
What superhero would you be?
“Flash.”
How long have you been wrestling?
“Since I was 4 years old.”
What’s your most memorable moment?
“Winning the Greco-Roman state title my freshman year.”
What’s the hardest part about performing in a wrestling match?
“Making sure I am ready to go for my match by getting a proper warmup.”
If you could have lunch with any person, who would it be?
“Milwaukee Bucks player Giannis Antetokounmpo.”
If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be?
“Wrestler Jordan Burroughs, because I think he’s an interesting guy, and it would be cool to go through the workouts he goes through.”
Name a movie you’re afraid to admit you like.
“Frozen.”
Do you have a nickname?
“Everyone on my team calls me Trentbeast. During my freshman year, my mom started posting pictures on Instagram and hashtagging it ‘#Trentbeast.’ My coaches saw it, called me it and the name has stuck.”
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
“One of my favorite things to do on the weekends is playing Xbox with my friends.”

“Pizza.”
What are your college aspirations?
“I plan to attend UW-Stevens Point, majoring in chemistry and hopefully wrestling.”
An individual goal for this year?
“I want to make it to state.”
What are your hobbies?
“I enjoy playing video games and hanging out with friends and family.”
What’s your favorite event ever attended?
“The Iowa versus Wisconsin wrestling dual last year. It was awesome to see some of my favorite college wrestlers in action.”
Do you have any bad habits?
“I procrastinate lots.”
What’s your favorite type of music?
“Country.”

“Intelligent, outgoing, athletic.”

“Skydiving.”
What’s your favorite trip ever taken?
“When I went to Prague, Czech Republic, and wrestled there.”

“I hope to have a happy, healthy family as I work as a forensic scientist.”
