BROWN COUNTY – The 2019 Fox River Classic Conference girls’ swimming and diving honors were recently announced.
Locally, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay United and Pulaski compete in the FRCC.
The swimmer of the year was Bay Port’s Emma Lasecki, who also won two state championships at the WIAA Division 1 state meet in Madison last fall.
The diver of the year was Taya Schmidt from Pulaski, and the coach of the year was Ashwaubenon’s Kari Kleczka.
1-meter diving: Schmidt, PUL, first team; Anika Gingle, BP, second team.
200-yard medley relay: ASH, first team – Bryanna Bellile, Jocelyn McNicoll, Hallory Domnick, Evelyn Geurts; BP, second team – Lasecki, Sydney Aird, Lacy Geurts, Ella Peot; GBU, honorable mention – Ella Sieber, Brigitta Neverman, Abby Rouleau, Anna Rouleau.
200 freestyle: Domnick, ASH, first team; Sieber, GBU, honorable mention.
200 individual medley: Lasecki, BP, first team; Neverman, GBU, second team; Adie Tooley, BP, honorable mention.
50 freestyle: Bellile, ASH, first team; Geurts, BP, second team; Peot, BP, honorable mention.
100 butterfly: Lasecki, BP, first team.
