FRCC awards: Girls’ tennis and volleyball

BROWN COUNTY – Awards for the fall season in girls’ tennis and volleyball were recently announced in the Fox River Classic Conference.

Locally, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest, Notre Dame Academy and Pulaski compete in the FRCC.

De Pere won the conference crown in girls’ tennis, while Bay Port captured the title in volleyball.

Girls’ tennis

First team: No. 1 singles – Norah Balthazor, DP; Marissa Marohl, ASH; No. 2 singles – Bella Bigari, DP; No. 3 singles – Sophia Fergus, DP; No. 4 singles – Puja Patel, ASH; No. 1 doubles – Tristyn Lueck/Audrey Ochsner, DP; Maddy Coopmans/Kennedy Conradt, ASH; No. 2 doubles – Delaney Christensen/Courtney Behnke, ASH; Maeryn Shephard/Anna Harmann, DP; No. 3 doubles – Lucia Bosco/Rae Wied, NDA.

Second team: No. 3 singles – Melanie Lamon, ASH; No. 4 singles – Mansha Ghai, DP; No. 1 doubles – Caragan Olles/Rachel Van Hefty, NDA.

Honorable mention: No. 2 singles – Natasha Schiegg, ASH; No. 4 singles – Lily Ann Tomashek, PUL; No. 1 doubles – Julia Tackmier/Allison Roever, GBSW; No. 3 doubles – Caitlyn Phillips/Karleigh Conradt, ASH.

Player of the Year: Balthazor

Co-coaches of the Year: Dave Reinardy, DP; Murray Gleffe, ASH.

Volleyball

First team: * Brooke Clement, BP; Taylor Birr, PUL; Grace Perret, GBP; Rachael Bohlman, GBSW, Brianna Geurts, DP; Brooklyn Onell, NDA; Katherine Walch, NDA.

Second team: Raegan McIntyre, BP, Madison Neumann, GBP; Shelby Stelzer, BP.

Honorable mention: Anna Wendorf, ASH; Alyssa Koska, BP; Keegan McGlachin, BP; Ellie Rose, NDA; Sammy Opichka, NDA; Kaity Coisman, DP; Ashton Birr, PUL.

Coach of the Year: Thiago Barbosa, BP.
