BELLEVUE – The Village of Bellevue has welcomed two new staff members to its team.

Kyle Casper is the village’s new recreation supervisor, a position left vacant by Adam Waszak when he was promoted to Parks, Recreation and Forestry director.

Before coming to Bellevue, Casper worked as a recreation supervisor with the Oneida Recreation Department.

“Kyle is bringing over 13 years of professional recreation experience to the Village of Bellevue,” Waszak said. “His experience with organizing and running a variety of successful recreation programs for all ages made him a standout for the position. He has a deep passion for providing public recreational programs and will work tirelessly to ensure that residents of all demographics have access to enjoyable, quality-driven and citizen-focused recreational opportunities within the village.”

Casper started in his role Oct. 30.

Also joining the team is Adam Baeten, the new engineering technician in the village’s Public Works Department.

Baeten is finishing up his degree in civil engineering at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

“Adam is hardworking, driven and willing to learn,” said Utility Manager Shawn Geiger. “These qualities make him an excellent fit for the village, especially as we launch new initiatives.”

The engineering position had been vacant since May.

Baeten started with the village Nov. 11.

With these two positions now filled, with new staff, and the new Public Works Director Andy Rowell starting recently, the village is now fully staffed – with the exception of a battalion chief position open within the fire department.

Village Administrator Diane Wessel said that position should be filled soon.
