SUAMICO – Three foot races and two bike races will be held Sunday, Oct. 27, on the trail system at the Brown County Reforestation Camp in Suamico.

The event is hosted by the Ashwaubenon Nordic Ski Team and benefits trail maintenance at the Reforestation Camp.

New this year is a donut run.

Participants will run or walk a course interspersed with donut aid stations.

The course follows the wide, rolling ski-trail system and begins at 11 a.m.

For those who eat at every stop, a kilometer is cut off their 5-km distance.

Awards will be presented for the top three adults and age sixteen and under kids.

The 5 km and 10-mile races start at 9 a.m. and utilize both the single and double-track bike trails for a challenging run in the woods.

Same-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the lodge.

Age group and overall awards will be presented.

The 12 and 24-mile mountain bike races begin at noon.

The 12-mile awards are for the sport, novice and fat-bike categories.

The 24 mile has elite and competition awards.

The trails will be leaf blown and no license is required.

Racers will be asked to show a Brown County trail pass or purchase a day pass.

The event offers a free, post-race meal for racers, concessions, beer, coffee, door prizes and a last hurrah before the season change.

Online registration goes through Oct. 25.
