BROWN COUNTY – The third week of the high school football season saw all area Green Bay teams in action.

De Pere wins first game: The Redbirds (1-2 overall, 1-2 Fox River Classic Conference) beat Sheboygan South (1-2, 1-2 FRCC) for their first win of the season, 31-6.

Quarterback Christian Bocik – who was 14-22 passing for 190 yards – threw touchdown passes to Adam Timbrook and Maddax Shinners.

Defensively, Bennett Spaeth had two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and Sam Hafner had 16 tackles and a fumble recovery he returned 26 yards for a score.

Jack Jorgensen also had an interception.

Green Bay East drops third straight: The Red Devils (0-3, 0-3 Bay Conference) lost 50-6 to Shawano (2-1, 2-1 Bay).

Riley Jensen – who had the only touchdown for East – rushed for 82 yards on five carries.

Defensively, Darius Miller and William Moren had 10 and eight tackles, respectively.

The Red Devils are averaging four points per game while surrendering more than 47 per outing.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran/Oneida wins first game: The United (1-2, 1-2 MONLPC-8) beat Sevastopol (0-3, 0-3 MONLPC-8) for their first win of the season, 58-32.

The 8-player game took place at Oneida Nation High School.

Green Bay Southwest sunk by Ships: The Trojans (1-2, 1-2 FRCC) dropped a 21-6 road game to Manitowoc Lincoln (1-2, 1-2 FRCC).

The contest was scoreless at halftime.

Taejon Richard, who had 113 yards rushing on 11 carries, scored the only touchdown for Southwest in the third quarter on a 6-yard run.

Pulaski remains unbeaten: The Red Raiders (3-0, 3-0 FRCC) shut out Sheboygan North (0-3, 0-3 FRCC), 41-0.

Pulaski rushed 40 times for 267 yards.

Aaron Maroszek had two touchdowns, while Lance VandeCorput, Ashton Kapla, JoJo O’Leary and Ben Redlin each added one.

Defensively, Max Burdette and Brock Egnarski had 11 and seven tackles, respectively.

Egnarski added an interception.

West De Pere rolls Green Bay West: The Phantoms (3-0, 3-0 Bay) beat the Wildcats, 65-0.

West De Pere quarterback Josh Blount was 8-12 passing for 217 yards with five touchdown throws.

Blount also rushed for another score as part of the Phantoms’ 200 yards on the ground.

Marcus VanVreede was the recipient of two touchdown tosses from Blount.

West (0-3, 0-3 Bay) has lost 31 consecutive games dating back to the 2015 season.
