Tell me about your family.

“I have an older sister named Ashley who is 24. She is finishing college at UW-Green Bay. My mom graduated from Bay Port and my dad from Green Bay West.”

Do you come from a sports family?

“My dad played football in high school.”

Explain what golf enterprise management is.

“It has to do with anything in the golf industry – teaching golf, maintenance or club building and repair.”

Which area is your favorite?

“I’m not sure which branch I’d like to go into, but I’m thinking I’d like to be the head of a golf course.”

Have you played other sports?

“Before I entered high school, I did lacrosse, but once I arrived at Bay Port, I had to make a choice.”

What was it like having Craig Buchinger as your coach?

“It was a lot of fun. He definitely made the times a lot better and kept our heads up.”

What is your most memorable golf moment?

“Walking up the 18th hole this past June at the WIAA state golf tournament on the second day. Seeing all my teammates behind the green was a lot of fun.”

Does an embarrassing moment come to mind?

“At regionals this year, I was sitting in the left rough on the last hole, and I hit my next shot straight right, and it went out of bounds. I ended up making a triple-bogey there.”

What is your favorite course?

“Whistling Straits in Sheboygan. It’s like being in a different country. When I played there in the spring with the high school team, it didn’t do it justice. I played it last summer in July for a junior tournament, and it was in incredible shape.”

What is your favorite local course?

“Brown County – I’ve been playing there for the last six or seven years.”

What is your favorite club in your bag?

“My driver.”

How far can you smash it?

“About 290 or 300 yards.”

What is your weakness as a golfer?

“Definitely my short game – my chipping and putting are not where it should be.”

It’s been a few months, but what did you think of Tiger Woods winning the Masters?

“It was pretty cool. I wasn’t even golfing the last time he won a major, so it was awesome to watch. It hasn’t been his best year since then.”

What is something about your most people wouldn’t know?

“I’ve been to 26 states.”

Which is your favorite?

“Florida or California.”

What three words describe you?

“Dedicated, passionate, hard-working.”

What two things will you miss about Bay Port?

“The people and playing golf.”

How will you be remembered at Bay Port?

“I hope to be remembered as a person that did their best and was dedicated to everything.”

Spring or fall?

“Fall.”

Chocolate or vanilla?

“Chocolate.”

Reading or writing?

“Writing.”
