Roots Chiropractic now open in Suamico

SUAMICO – After spending a few years out of the Green Bay area, Dr. Brian Huisheere has come back to his roots and opened his chiropractic clinic in Suamico.

“My wife and I are both from the De Pere area, born and raised, and we kept talking about getting back to our roots and moving back home closer to family,” said Huisheere. “And then it just clicked one day that we should name our new practice after that.”

Roots Chiropractic officially opened on June 25, and is located in the Urban Edge Towne Centre at 2306 Lineville Road #107.

After Huisheere, his wife, and young daughter moved back to the area in January, the family found a location in the growing Village of Suamico to set up the new practice.

“All the stars were aligned,” Huisheere said. “We knew this was the time to do it, and this is where we needed to be.”
The word “roots” has meaning from a chiropractic standpoint, as well, said Huisheere.

“It meshes perfectly with our philosophy of your spine and nervous system being the roots of your health,” he said. “And with healthy roots, you can grow a healthy life.”

Huisheere graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and then practiced in the La Crosse area at a prenatal/family chiropractic clinic.

“I knew I wanted to get into a career that helped people, especially kids,” he said. “The love of chiropractic came at an early age with my own experience and my family’s experiences.”

Huisheere said he feels passionately about chiropractic care, because it was something that helped him feel healthier when he was a child dealing with issues like asthma and allergies.

“You name it, we tried it,” he said. “Nothing really helped until a last-ditch effort of going to a chiropractor, and within months, all of my issues had alleviated, and we all became chiropractic believers.”

Huisheere said chiropractic care can help alleviate a wide range of health issues in adults, children and even babies.
For new parents hoping for a less invasive, more natural approach, Huisheere said chiropractic care can help with issues such as colic, sleeping problems and constipation that babies sometimes experience.

“Some new parents don’t know where to turn and don’t want to go the medication route when their babies are that little,” he said. “So chiropractic care is a beautiful option.”

In addition to asthma and allergies, Huisheere said he has seen great results through chiropractic care with older children experiencing anxiety, ear infections, congestion and more.

“Over time, we hope to become the go-to family chiropractic provider in the area, as well as be a resource and natural health support for families,” he said. “We’re really hoping to sew ourselves into the community and grow right alongside this great community.”
