Booyah get back into win column

GREEN BAY – After a two-game losing streak, the Green Bay Booyah baseball team got back into the win column with a 2-1 victory over Lakeshore at Capital Credit Union Park June 10.

The Northwoods League game lasted 2 hours and 57 minutes and saw 906 fans in attendance.

Winning pitcher Nick Riggle (California – PA) went five innings and gave up four hits and one earned run.

Jaret Godman (Oklahoma) recorded the save.

Jarrett Ford (Florida International) had two hits and an RBI.

Ford knocked in Nick Kreutzer – who led off the second inning with a walk – with a single for Green Bay’s first run.

The Booyah got another run in the fourth when Chris Williams scored on a double steal.

Green Bay left 10 runners stranded in the game.

The Booyah will host Madison in a 7:05 game Tuesday, June 11.

Booyah promotions: The Booyah will be offering some additional promotions this week.

On Thursday, June 13, fans can purchase a box seat and a Rocky Bal-Booyah bobblehead for $10.

For the Friday, June 14 game, $2 Bud Light/Budweiser taps will be available from the time the gates open through the fifth inning.

On Father’s Day, June 16, a $15 Father’s Day special will be available.

The promotion includes all-you-can brats, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and chips, along with one beverage (Pepsi or Budweiser products) of choice.

Game times are 7:05, 6:05 and 3:05, respectively.
