Streckenbach wins reelection

BROWN COUNTY – Incumbent Troy Streckenbach has retained the office of Brown County executive after defeating Mark Berndt in the April 2 general election.

Unofficial results show Streckenbach garnered 34,941 votes, or 74.82 percent and Berndt earned 11,637 votes, or 24.92 percent.

Streckenbach is a lifelong resident of Brown County and grew up in the greater Green Bay area.

He has owned and operated six businesses in the county in the past 20 years.

Streckenbach first took office in April 2011, and was first reelected in 2015.

The county executive is the chief executive officer and chief elected official of the county.

The office is responsible for the administration and management of the county.
